Linear Potentiometer

Precision Displacement Sensor with Signal Conditioner

High-Accuracy Linear Position Sensor with Integrated Signal Conditioning
The Linear Potentiometer is a precision displacement sensor designed to convert linear mechanical movement into a proportional electrical signal. It offers high accuracy, excellent repeatability, and reliable performance for industrial, aerospace, and automation applications.

Operating Principle

  • Voltage divider principle: Linear movement of the actuator causes the wiper to traverse along a uniform resistive track
  • Proportional output: Output voltage is proportional to the displacement relative to the total stroke length
  • Integrated signal conditioner: Provides 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA, or 0–10 V outputs

Key Features

  • Measurement stroke: 30 to 1250 mm
  • High linearity: ± 0.05%
  • Excellent repeatability: < 0.01 mm
  • Infinite resolution for precise position feedback
  • Multiple output options: 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA, 0–10 V
  • Long mechanical life: 100 million cycles
  • High durability: Anodized aluminium housing, stainless steel rod
  • IP65 protection for harsh environments
  • Wide operating temperature: -20°C to +80°C
